Finally the Neubauten arrived
in Berlin for the "alles wieder offen" tour after a lot of dates
around Europe. I consider Neubauten the best band of the last 20 years,
not only for the music but for everything concerning the Neubauten "world"
like the lyrics, the reserach research, ….so every concert is a special
event that's why I expected this concert for long.
The last time that I saw them live it was in Dresden for the "perpetuum
mobile" tour and it was incredible. I remember that also Blixa was
surprised to see a lot of people and said something like… a lot of
people here tonight but we don't give free beers to nobody!
And also for me is strange that not so much people in Germany are into
the Neubauten like in Italy for example where they are quite "famous".
In Berlin this year there were a lot of people, very disturbing people…but
maybe it's a new politic of this city: selling free tickets for don't
let the people alone. So that's why we have to say thanks to this masses
why they didn't make silence is sexy…a song that is about the importance
of the silence also in this loud world, and if Neubauten the band that
create a special noise sound, talk about this, maybe we have also to think
about. Anyway I have paid a ticked for the concert not for the useful
masses…
Most of the songs were from the new album, played in a more rock and roll
way, and this is the secret, a mix of different energy and a lot of attitude.
Alexander Hacke now looks also like tipicical r'n'r hero, with the long
hairs and a Lemmy (motorhead) style.
The old songs were played in this "new" way and everything was
about 2 hours of intensive concert. At the end they started to make a
strange game, but to be honest I didn't understand it too much.
Ah I forget…before there was a support band, a duo from Japan but
I don' remember the name because it was very boring and also find the
right support band it's not very easy!
